Paraben-Free Beauty founder, Christine Siglinger, owns and operates a successful salon in Palo Alto, California. Her commitment to her loyal clientele includes offering the latest in hair and beauty products to make them look their very best.
Through her volunteer work with the American Cancer Society, Christine learned about the possible links between breast cancer and parabens – chemical preservatives found in shampoos, conditioners, commercial moisturizers, shaving gels, cleansing gels, topical pharmaceuticals and toothpaste. She went on a mission to find out more.
The more she learned, the more convinced she became that parabens carried a lot of potentially harmful risks.
